Guinea pigs
They weight 0.7-1.2 grams and grow up to 25 cm in length. The average lifespan is 4-5 years, but may live as long as 8 years. Guinea pigs are great swimmers! In Zoopark, guinea pigs live together with rabbits.
Guinea pigs feed on grain, various fruits and vegetables.
Guinea pig – one of the most common pet rodents. Their ancestors originate from the Andes, however, guinea pigs do not live in the wild – they were bred as domestic pets. The first guinea pigs were domesticated as early as 5000 BC!
